Have you ever asked yourself, what more can I do? Do you have a heart for the aging population in your community or perhaps in your own family?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, you won’t want to miss this informative webinar with Angie Stone, RDH, author of ‘Dying From Dirty Teeth’ and founder of HyLife Oral Health Alliance (HOHA). Also joining us will be Mary Jensen, RDH, independent HOHA member and Oral Care Services provider.
It turns out there is a big gap when it comes to elder oral care in elder care facilities. And with the recent on-line publication of research that finally proves a causal relationship between high risk periodontal pathogens and arterial sclerotic diseases, not to mention the impact of perio on diabetes, these folks could very well be ‘dying from dirty teeth’. Don’t take my word for it, click here for the article.
Join Angie, Mary and myself to learn more about this ‘gap’ in care and what you can do about it.
