14 Presented-14 Scheduled!

I know you’re curious to hear the story behind today’s subject line. There for awhile we were highlighting one of our clients every month or so. We’ve gotten behind on that and honestly, it’s because I’ve been so busy with client visits that I haven’t given my team all the team photos and great results I’m hearing on our coaching calls. But that’s about to change.

It’s always good to know that others just like you can achieve great things with clear systems and a little cheerleading.

I’m happy to share with you the success of one of our fabulous clients, Dr. Suzan Furney and her fantastic team.

I have my clients track their progress so they can celebrate their successes and hold themselves accountable.  On one of my recent coaching calls with Dr. Furney and her team the thing they were the most proud of was that in the previous week one of the hygienists had achieved 100% perio case acceptance. She presented 14 quads of perio therapy and all 14 of those were scheduled! Now that doesn’t happen every day but it can certainly happen more often than not. The foundation of their enrollment system is what I call the 3 P’s of Perio Enrollment.

Instead of an article, this week I have a short video for you on the 3 P’s of Perio Enrollment. It’s about 8 minutes long so get comfy and I hope you learn something new you can implement today!

What I Learned from Linda Miles

Last week I had the privilege to speak at the Tennessee Dental Association annual session in Nashville. Keep a close eye on this meeting. They’re developing this as an up and coming regional meeting and if you haven’t been to Nashville, you are missing out. It is full of live music, great shopping and beautiful scenery. It’s one of my favorite towns.

While I was there I attended some great courses and got to visit with one of my mentors and friends, THE Linda Miles. I learn so much from her every time I hear her speak. One of the concepts I learned from Linda long ago is that your patients will never value the treatment you recommend unless YOU first value it. This fits perfectly with our Hygiene Profits Mastermind call coming up next week.  If you want your patients to see you as a true healthcare provider, you must first step into that role. What does that look like? Well, asking your diabetic patients to tell you their most recent HbA1c number is a great start. This lets them know you’re looking out for them-not just in their mouth but in their whole body. I hope you’ll join me for the call.

Preventive Professional or Mouth Maid?

We’ve all had those days when we feel like a mouth maid. As a hygienist, it’s frustrating to feel that we aren’t respected as the professionals we are. But guess what? It’s up to us to change that image! In order to be seen as a true healthcare professional, we must first step into that role. On this call you’ll learn actions you can take to realize your true potential as part of the complete healthcare team such as:

  • How to inspire your entire dental team to play a bigger role in your patients’ overall health
  • How to start changing your patients’ image of you for the better
  • What things to start doing to become a preventive professional
  • What things to stop doing to avoid being a mouth maid

I hope you’ll join us.  If you’re not a member of our Hygiene Profits Mastermind, try it FREE for 2 months.  Go to HygieneMastermind.com for all of the details and to sign up.
